What is this project about?

Of course, about Ukrainian culture—from the origins of the Ukrainian ethnos to the political nation of modern Ukraine, from the admonitions of Volodymyr Monomakh to the Lviv hippies, from Bohdan Khmelnytsky's diplomacy to the political hooliganism of the "Coffee Drinkers Club", from the economy of medieval towns to contemporary economic practices.

The project's mission is to present the diverse Ukrainian culture to the world expertly, engagingly, and accessibly, creating an active community of its supporters.

Culture is always timely and needs to be discussed. To make the conversation high-quality, with interesting interlocutors and topics, our team created the UCULTURE educational platform.

UCULTURE is a space of knowledge that helps you figure out almost any question about Ukrainian culture. Researchers from various fields—archaeologists, economists, historians, cultural scholars, artists, critics, and many other specialists—contribute.
